From the heart of struggle and space boundaries, FiReLEAGUE was born in 2020 during the pandemic to unite people from across the world in the name of gaming love. Organized by FiReSPORTS, the FiReLEAGUE was intended to encourage esports within the Latin community to compete with the three major leagues of Europe, Asia, and the United States. Last year, FaZe Clan won the first season of the CS:GO FiReLEAGUE; this year, the second season is underway and will conclude in November.

This article provides insight into the gaming schedule, the contending teams, and the prize pool for the FiReLEAGUE Global Finals of 2023.

CS:GO Betting Scene

The CS:GO betting scene is one of the largest and most popular in esports, with billions of dollars wagered each year. During international championships, esports enthusiasts worldwide place bets on their favorite CS:GO teams. Because of this huge betting interest, online platforms provide real-time updates about all tournaments, allowing players to place bets differently before and during games.

Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) was announced in March 2023, after the release of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2012. CS2 will feature brand-new weapons and maps, improved gameplay, powerful tick-rate servers, and a faster matchmaking system. Although CS2 has not yet been officially released, fans eagerly await its release. The In-Game Details

From November 8th to 12th, 2023, the FiReLEAGUE Global Finals 2023 will occur in Barcelona, Spain. Sixteen teams will compete in the grand final tournament for a collective prize of $150,000.

  1. Judges divide the teams into two groups of eight
  2. A single-elimination bracket follows the group stage
  3. Top two teams from the single-elimination bracket secure two spots in the upper bracket of the playoffs
  4. The third and fourth teams proceed to the lower brackets
  5. All team members play in best-of-three matches
  6. The best-of-three finals compete in teams for the upper and lower-bracket finals
  7. Winners of the lower and upper brackets play against each other in a best-of-five match

The winning team will hold the title of the FiReLEAGUE Global Finals 2023

Competing Teams

The list is incomplete; other teams will be eligible to participate through regional qualifiers and invites.

Virtus.Pro

(VP) is a Russian organization currently ranked 5th worldwide by HLTV.org. In 2023, Virtus.Pro won the ESL Pro League Season 18 and finished 2nd in the PGL Major Antwerp 2023. The team members in this tournament are Mir, FL1T, Jame, n0rb3r7, fame, and Coach Dastan.

Fnatic

Team Fnatic is among the most talented teams globally, winning tier-1 game tournaments more than any other team. Their CS: GO team has won three Major championships in 2013, 2014, and 2015. the current roster is KRIMZ, dexter, roeJ, mezii, afro, and Coach Keita.

Imperial

Team Imperial is one of the most successful Brazilian (CS: GO) teams. Although they have never won a major tournament, they finished in 9th-12th place at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022—current team members HEN1, Boltz, felps, VINI, JOTA, and coach Zakk.

9z Team is one of the top teams of Valorant in Latin America. In CS: GO Majors, they haven’t won any major tournament; however, they qualified for the playoffs of a few. Members are max, dgt, dav1deuS, try, buda, and coach tge.

Movistar Riders

Movistar Riders is a Spanish esports organization that has won several national and international championships. In the IEM Cologne tournament, their CS: GO team reached the semifinals. Team members are Alex, JUST, mopoz, adamS, Martinez, and Coach Blade.

SAW

Proudly carrying the flag of Portugal, Team SAW competes in CS: GO. The team finished second at the European Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournament and qualified for the PGL Major Stockholm 2021. The current lineup is MUTiRiS, Roman, story, ewjerkz, arrozdoce, and Coach NABOWOW.

BESTIA

Team BESTIA is an Argentinian organization that currently fields CS: GO; their team is one of the best in South America and won the South American qualifiers for the IEM Dallas Major of 2023. Team members are Noktse, meyern, deco, luchov, tomaszin and coach pino.

paiN Gaming

paiN is a Brazilian esports organization that has won several Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments in South America and has qualified for multiple Major tournaments. team members are biguzera, skullz, kauez, cass1n, lux and coach rikz.

Prize Pool

The FiReLEAGUE Global Finals 2023 features teams from Europe, Asia, North America, and South America. The prize pool will be divided between teams ranked from 1st to 8th as follows:

  • 1st place: $100,000
  • 2nd place: $30,000
  • 3rd-4th place: $7,000
  • 5th-8th place: $1,500
