What Shape Does The Self Hold The Perils in the Dark quest, which is part of a wider series that takes place in Liyue’s The Chasm: Underground Mines region, is a perfect example of this.
Although the series was added last year, it has resurfaced as a result of the new tale quest line for Nahida introduced in Version 3.6. This guide will follow you through the Perils in the Dark quest and explain the connection to Nahida’s tale quest’s second act, Sapientia Oromasdis Chapter.

Part 2 of Nahida’s Act 2 Story Quest in Genshin Impact 3.6 is What Shape Does the Self Hold. Check out how to start the quest, how to finish it, and all the prizes here! What Shape Does the Self Hold is available after finishing the previous quest: Completing the Perils in the Dark World Quest is necessary to go through the second portion of Nahida’s Act 2 Story Quest. Go to the deepest area of The Chasm and continue ahead. Before anything else, equip the Lumenstone Adjuvant.
Genshin Impact Head to The Deepest part of The Chasm:
This task is located in the Stony Halls subarea, which is the deepest place you’ve visited thus far. A teleport waypoint just to the north of the region allows for easy access. When you come across a massive hole in the ground, you’ll know you’re at the proper area. Your initial goal is to get further into the abyss, so leap into the large hole and dodge the walls with your wing glider.
Continue gliding until you reach the Nameless Ruins. There’s a black fog in the middle of this location, but first walk a little further down and activate the teleport waypoint. For the time being, the black fog will not allow you through, so stroll about until you discover an Oozing Concretion near the task sign. Clear it with your Lumenstone Adjuvant and look for Fatuus’ Journal.
Reading that will disclose the locations of the remaining Stony Halls and Nameless Ruins on your map, as well as the locations of two bells you must ring. A Seelie may be found just ahead of you. Follow it to obtain a chest of goodies, then proceed north following the designated path. You’ll come upon a Ruin Grader along the route, which you may either avoid or fight. Soon after, a massive door will appear, and a Shadowy Husk: Line Breaker will emerge.
Ringing the Southern Bell:
A Shadowy Husk: Line Breaker and a Shadowy Husk: Line Breaker Once you’ve cleared all four monuments, Standard Bearer will appear. The latter employs Pyro assaults and interacts with player shields, but instead of healing, they construct Pyro shields around themselves and surrounding Shadowy Husks.
Because their strikes are sluggish, take them out one at a time. You can strike the enormous bell once they’ve both been slain. After a brief sequence, you’ll be ready to proceed to the other. Return to the first waypoint we found throughout this mission, in front of the fog.
Turn left (technically in the southern direction) and drop down to a tiny cave opening. After a short distance, you’ll see a vast emptiness with a new teleport waypoint in the distance. Glide across, activate it, and then continue to the shattered bridge or the rocky route on the left. Any adversaries you encounter are entirely elective.
