Goku Black Fortnite: Fans of Fortnite and Dragon Ball Super have been talking about the possibilities of an epic collaboration incorporating the popular Goku Black Saga.
The community was piqued when renowned leaker ShiinaBR released details regarding a prospective Dragon Ball partnership. A male skin codenamed “Dual Paradox” is said to be in the works, with two separate variations.
The mention of a dual pickaxe lends credence to the theory. Rose Goku Black’s Keyblades or his scythe, an advanced version of the key sword and Keyblade, could be related to this. As Goku Day (May 9th) approaches, many assume that an official announcement will made soon, bringing the much anticipate character to Fortnite.

While Fortnite has collaborated with nearly every anime out there these days, few have surpassed the Dragon Ball crossover’s overwhelming mass appeal and pulling power. The two franchises have already collaborate, but with the arrival of a Goku Black skin to commemorate a major day in Dragon Ball, it appears that they are poise to partner once more.
For those unfamiliar with Dragon Ball Super, Goku Black can be tough to understand — and even those who are familiar with the series may struggle to express it clearly. Goku Black is essentially an alternate timeline version of Goku who was once known as Zamasu and swapped bodies with Goku as part of his goal to capture the Dragon Balls.
There are many more layers to it, but Goku Black is essentially Evil Goku, capable of creating endless versions of himself across dimensions, including the Fortnite dimension.
Fortnite Goku Black Skin:
While we don’t yet have an official look at Goku Black, the game’s files and word of mouth have all but verified that he will be in the game. The design will most likely be cel-shad, as is the case with other anime skins in Fortnite.
According to rumours, Goku Black will have two hairstyles (one black and one pink), as well as a Staff Pickaxe, Gold Pickaxe, Emote, and Wrap. When we get an official glimpse at the Goku Black render in Fortnite, we’ll update this.
While most Fortnite collaboration skins cost 1500 V-Bucks, Epic anticipated that fans would pay for a Goku skin and sold him for 2000 V-Bucks. As a result, we anticipate Goku Black to cost 2000 V-Bucks from the Item Shop, but he may be less expensive due to the fact that he will likely have less bundled with him.
Going back to bundles, Goku Black will very certainly be available in a bundle that includes all of his cosmetics for around 2500 V-Bucks, given from the costs of the previous crossover packs we’ve seen.
Fortnite Goku Black Skin Release Date:
Fans should expect Goku Black to appear in Fortnite on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023 during the Item Shop reset, as May 9th is Goku Day every year. The date is write as 5/9 in Japan, and the digits can represent as “Go” and “Ku” in kanji. It’s not as spotless as May 4th for all things Star Wars, but it’s certainly creative.
For this occasion, you can also expect the other Dragon Ball skins to return to the Item Shop. As for how long Goku Black will available, a week is a safe bet, and he will almost certainly return every year for Goku Day from now on.
