Dying Light 2 Crane Bundle: As Dying Light 2 approaches its first birthday, Techland is teasing what the open-world zombie game has in store for 2023.
Along with releasing a major update for it, the team also unveiled its year’s worth of content, which includes both paid DLC and some free patches.
Three costume packs and two events are included in the roadmap’s February launch. Between January 31 and February 9 is the Bloody Anniversary event, which combines the Bloody Summer and Rampage events. Between February 9 and February 13 is the Drop Kick Weekend, which increases the effectiveness of drop kicks.

Brecken, Crane, and Rais are all part of the skin bundles, which are a throwback to the previous game. Participants in the Bloody Anniversary event will receive a free Rais bundle, while those in the Drop Kick Weekend event will receive a free Brecken bundle.
If not, the two will cost $2.99. For individuals who own both Dying Light games and have a Techland GG account, there is the Crane package.
The most recent update includes a number of features and is included in this month’s roadmap. Improved ragdoll physics and A.I. reflexes, cross-generation co-op for PlayStation and Xbox users, dynamic competitions from the first game, and Legend Levels, which offer endgame progression and allow players to increase specific passive stats, are all features of this game.

It’s important to note that cross-generation co-op allows gamers to play together on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, but not Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S users, and vice versa.
The whole patch notes list all of the additional features, including the ability to kick more forcefully and escape grips more readily. Support for Steam Deck was advertised as a feature arriving in February, however it didn’t appear in this version.
More improvements to the combat and cruelty systems are coming in March. Since the game’s release, Techland has already increased the gore several times, even adding an X-ray system after significant impacts. That month will also provide unique Techland tasks and gear transmog.
And although the March update is meant to enhance combat, Techland wants the June patch to enhance parkour’s fluidity. The nighttime environment and wandering volatiles will also be improved.
The roadmap ends ambiguously, but that is the location of Dying Light 2’s upcoming expansion. Unnamed DLC with new locations and weapon types is scheduled for release in late 2023. The team revealed some concept art, which appears swampier than other regions in the game.
Even though the studio is still being evasive. Given that Bloody Ties, its initial expansion, was repeatedly postponed, Techland might be hesitant to give this DLC a release date.
