The Game Awards 2022 are an occasion for celebration on several levels. It’s time for the industry to recognise the best games of the year—those that brought us all great joy along the journey and helped us all achieve our goals. Period to look forward to a time when Dead Island 2, Forspoken, Redfall, Starfield, Alan Wake 2, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom reign supreme.

As in previous years, there were a tonne of surprises at the Game Awards this year, including significant cameos from a variety of companies, exciting new game announcements, and much more to start the hype train in motion. It’s now (and gratefully) time to think about the future as 2022 is now fading from view.

Game Awards 2023:

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania, the latest installment in the well-liked Dead Cells series, was the subject of the opening trailer for The Game Awards. Alucard and Richter Belmont from the Castlevania series will eventually join the game’s protagonist in a battle against Dracula.

Future updates to Netflix’s subscription platform will include the mobile game Valiant Hearts: Coming Home. Valiant Hearts: The Great War’s main-line sequel is this one.
The following video was for Mike Mignola’s upcoming film, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd, which uses his distinctive artwork to reimagine the appearance of well-known comics. Hellboy engages in brawling, cinematic combat with a were-beast in the trailer.

Game Awards 2023 release:

The game will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.

A fresh flash video for Horizon Call of the Mountain VR, which included additional crazy action and combat, appeared shortly after the Hellboy trailer.

The next trailer was for a psychological thriller with a horror theme that follows the movements of a strange woman through dim, blood-stained hallways. Post Trauma is currently unknown, as are the subjects it will tackle, but we do know it is coming to Windows PC.
