NBA 2k23 Update 1.09 Release Date:
New ratings, patch notes, and enhanced game functionality are all included in the NBA 2K22 version. This update most likely offers a lot more because of Season 4. On December 1st, 2021, the most current patch was published to coincide with the start of Season 3.
Originally scheduled to appear on January 14, 2023, to coincide with the start of Season 4, NBA 2K23 Update 1.09 instead debuted on January 10, 2023, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and is now accessible for download. NBA 2K23 patch notes:

12 January 2023 — The missing stars don’t seem to have been mentioned as of yet, so maybe they have been given back to people who has lost them or will be restored as soon as possible so players can use their award before the season is through. The new season will debut on Friday, January 14, 2023, and by that time, the stars will be out of date, according to the patch notes.

NBA 2K23 patch January 10th:
According to reports, the update for Xbox One users is 38.57GB in size compared. To a somewhat smaller 23.152GB update for PlayStation users. Still and are both quite substantial download sizes for a mid-season patch. So it wouldn’t be strange to find quite a few changes and some preparations for Season 4 when the patch notes are issued.
