The NBA 2K22 Update Does Not Fix the Xbox Shutdown Problem:

Whenever this NBA 2K22 version went out, there was a lot of anticipation that it would fix the horrible Xbox shutdown glitch that was troubling so many players.

After hearing about the update, some of the most common user reactions initially focused on the problem of Xbox consoles abruptly shutting off or stopping the game when playing NBA 2K22.

It’s unclear what percentage of the problem was there with Xbox or even with NBA 2K22, but things got to the point that Xbox Help recently had to handle it directly.

While NBA 2K22 has been the main offender. It is by no means the only one; users have also lately mentioned Splitgate, Madden 22, FIFA 22, Calling of Duty: Frontline, and Microsoft Flight Simulator as having comparable issues.

The Xbox shutdown fault appears to affect a number of titles from various developers, with a game that requires an online connection being the only thing in common.

If 2K was not able to address the error on their own, the ball might remain in Xbox’s court given that the bug was not specifically mentioned in the published latest update for NBA 2K22 Newer Generation Patch Update 1.6.
