lever Action Shotgun Fortnite Damage and More

lever Action Shotgun Fortnite: In Battle Royale, there are five different variations of the Lever Action Shotgun: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. It has a headshot multiplier of x1.48 (does 139/146/153/161/171 damage to the head), fires 9 pellets, and uses Shells ‘n’ Slugs. It has a pump action and fires slightly more quickly than the Pump Shotgun and Charge Shotgun but slightly more slowly than the Heavy Shotgun.

It was likely added in response to numerous requests for a traditional pump-action shotgun, such as the Pump Shotgun or Heavy Shotgun; however, since Epic Games is unlikely to want to add either of these again, they combined them into a more balanced version that focuses primarily on the Pump Shotgun. The Winchester Model 1887 Shotgun, which was notably utilized by Terminator T800, served as the design inspiration for the lever action shotgun.

Strategy:

The Common and Uncommon varieties of this shotgun can take out a player in three shots, while the Rare through Legendary variants can do it in just two. When combined with its excellent fire rate, which is almost as fast as the Heavy Shotgun, this shotgun is a fairly dependable choice.

However, compared to the Pump Shotgun, it has a shorter effective range, heavier damage falloff, a longer reload time, and slower equipment time speeds. Make sure to take out this shotgun before approaching the enemy because of the slow equipment time.

Last but not least, even though it has a lower headshot multiplier, it only provides more damage on headshots than the Tactical Shotgun (excluding the Double Barrel Shotgun & Drum Shotgun). It is therefore not completely useless, but it is definitely better balanced than the Pump Shotgun. To maximize your damage output, try to use this shotgun at close range similar to a pump shotgun but a little closer. Of course not to the extent with the Double Barrel Shotgun that you are unable to avoid the enemy by more than 0.5 tiles.

Trivia:

The Winchester Model 1887, with its barrel bandaged, served as the most likely source of inspiration for the Lever Action Shotgun. The maximum firing range of the Lever Action Shotgun is 6 tiles, the same as that of the Pump Shotgun, Tactical Shotgun, and Charge Shotgun. However, it only has a slightly larger Damage Falloff than the Double Barrel Shotgun, which starts at 1.0 tiles instead of 0.50.

The Epic and Legendary Double Barrel Shotgun deliver 142 & 150 headshot damage, respectively, while the Uncommon and Rare Lever Action Shotgun does the same.
While the Epic Double Barrel Shotgun deals 114 body damage, the Legendary Lever Action Shotgun does the same.

Despite having the name “Lever Action,” it doesn’t have two separate fire rates depending on whether you hip-fire or aim as the Lever Action Rifle does. Oddly, its damage incorporates decimals in-game data. Visually, though, it doesn’t. This was most likely unintentional, and it will most likely be corrected with a hotfix or the upcoming update. It fires nine rather than ten pellets, unlike conventional shotguns.

Conclusion:

To maximize your damage output, try to use this shotgun at close range similar to a pump shotgun but a little closer. Of course not to the extent with the Double Barrel Shotgun that you are unable to avoid the enemy by more than 0.5 tiles.
