Battlefield 2042 Season 3 Release Date: Next month, Battlefield 2042 Season 2 will release with a tonne of new content, including a specialty and map. A revamp for the Battlefield 2042 Specialists and a new class system is among the things DICE has updated everyone on regarding what they’ve been working on over the past few months and what players can anticipate in the weeks leading up to the end of the year.
Battlefield 2042 Specialists Will Be Overhauled Into a Class System:
Many gamers questioned why Battlefield 2042 didn’t feature the conventional class system found in previous games since they didn’t like the new Specialist system. The good news is that starting with Season 3, this will change. All 11 of the current Specialists will be transferred into a class structure made up of the Engineer, Assault, Recon, and Support categories.
All Specialists in a given class will have access to certain qualities, and the currently accessible throwables and gadgets will be divided among the classes according to how well they suit each function. Despite the fact that the Specialists have been divided into four classes, DICE wants to know from you if they have them correct and warns that the arrangement is susceptible to change:

Beginning with Season 2, specialists will also have updated facial expressions, posture, and voices that reflect more combat wear. The new vault weapons, which are a collection of Portal weapons that will be made available in various modes, are another addition to Season 2. Through assignments, these are made accessible. Despite the lack of information regarding the assignments, Season 2 will begin with the M16A3 assault rifle and M6DE4 LMG. Over the course of Season 2 and beyond, more will be added.
There will also be some focus on maps. Renewal will receive a revision in September, while Orbital will do so in October. Similar to Kaleidoscope, both have been modified to provide more natural cover and fewer open spots, as well as more constrained battle corridors and less room for huge vehicles to maneuver. With its compact layout, a brand-new, nameless map from Season 2 is ideal for games focused on infantry. The aforementioned video contains all of these.
With Season 2, there will also be adding new material for Portal, a new Specialist, weapons, vehicles, Battle Pass, Experiences, weekly objectives, community highlights, and more. All of this stuff, with the exception of a brief glimpse at the new map, has not been revealed yet; Season 2 will be revealed later this month. DICE wants to reassure players that they are currently creating content for Season 3 and beyond and that the volume of new material in upcoming seasons will be comparable.
Battlefield 2042 Season 3 Release date and time:
Battlefield 2042 Season 2: Master of Arms will begin on August 30, 2022, according to the Gameplay Trailer and an official tweet from EA. You can download Battlefield Direct Communication at a specific time. The season is now available for download, according to Twitter. It will officially begin at 12 p.m. UTC, which is 1 p.m. BST and 8 a.m. EST. It might come a little later because the last season, “Zero Hour,” experienced some technical difficulties before players were able to access it.
Battlefield Season 2 Battle Pass:
Players can gain 100 additional prize tiers from the Battlefield 2 Season 2 Pass. These include having access to Crawford, a new Specialist, as well as to guns, cars, clothing, and other items. There are 30 tiers of awards available for free, but those who choose the Premium version can receive an additional 70 rewards. They’ll also gain access to the following four special rewards:
- Legendary “Undeniable” Boris Specialist Set
- Legendary “Red Eye” Weapon Skin
- Epic “The Mountain King” Player card background
- Rare “Wolverine” Player Card Tag
If you already own the Battlefield 2042 Gold or Ultimate Edition with the Year 1 Pass, or if you’re a member of EA Play Pro, you’ll get the Specialist and Premium Battle Pass for no extra cost.
