Future in Xbox game pass in January 2022
It’s certainly possible that Xbox Game Pass may outlast Xbox systems by next-gen or the generation after that. Phil Spencer has spoken publicly about the possibility of expanding the service to additional platforms in the future. This would allow the brand to move beyond its roots and reposition itself as a gaming service that can be accessed wherever consumers want to play.
However, it’s becoming more probable that Nintendo and PlayStation will launch their own Xbox Game Pass rival programs. After all, Sony has already stated that it would do so in 2022, and who can blame them?

So far, the following titles have been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in January 2022:
- The Anacrusis – 13th of January (Console, PC)
- Paparazzi – 20th of January (Console, PC)
- Windjammers 2 will be released on January 20th (Console, PC)
Keep checking back because an announcement might happen at any moment. In the first and third weeks of the month, Microsoft will reveal two-game drops.

Removed games in Xbox game pass
In January 2022, Microsoft hasn’t said which titles will be removed from Xbox Game Pass. On January 1, the first announcement will be made, followed by another in the middle of the month.

Xbox players may download Space Invaders Infinity Gene, a reimagining of the popular arcade space shooter Space Invaders, from January 16 to 31. Over 140 levels to blast foes in, new power-ups to use, and striking new visuals that give the iconic Space Invaders style a modern makeover are all included in this game.
